Relative to the previous reviewer's comments. My 12 gallon ShopVac died after 4 years of hard consumer-grade use as my woodshop dust collector. I've put a lot of sawdust through that thing and it died this April (2007). Without a receipt, I assumed that my 5-yr warranty was meaningless, but I called ShopVac Customer Service on a whim. To my surprise, they asked for the model number and a date code that was stamped on the bottom of the motor. Once I provided that information, the responded with an email that my no-cost replacement motor and fan unit would be shipped Fedex ASAP. I had the unit within 5-days.

In short, I couldn't be happier with ShopVac and their excellent customer service.

Not happy with this sweeper
Pros: Lite-weight, easy to use, long battery life.

Cons: Cat hair gets wrapped up into the coils and is difficult to clean out. Does not pick up all of the dirt and hair. Spits some of the dirt back out when you pull it backwards. When you press the off button, dirt comes out of it. I will not buy this sweeper again.

Wonderful cordless and easy to use
I bought this vacuum and it works like a charm. No more cords to fall over or have to keep plugging and unplugging. Really does an excellent job on my wood floors and gets all the dust and lint vacummed. Also works good on carpets.

I do plan to get the extra battery so it will be ready at all times but you don't need to if you are willing to wait three hours for the battery to recharge.

Wow! I am so enthralled with my new vacuum belt. It is sleek and so very sexy. It adds charm to an otherwise dull household appliance and being black it is completely versitile. I LOVE my Enviro Steamer. I bought my first one 10 years ago. Last fall, it gave up the ghost because of a design issue that has been solved in the new incarnation. In fact, the three minor things I did not like about my earlier model are solved in the new model. Way to go Eureka!

I made the mistake of trying a couple of other designs (Shark killed my back! and another one that was definitely made in China...both of the ones shipped to me never worked right). I was so happy when I went back to the internet and saw the Enviro Steamer was available again.

I told my husband I actually felt like dancing I was so happy to be steam mopping with my Enviro Steamer. I have about 800 sf of tile, I just fill and go, it covers the whole area. To move into another room, I simply unplug it, move, plug it back in and keep going. The weight is where it should be, on top of the pad. It cleans so well, for tougher stains just keep it steaming on that spot. In fact, it's cleaning the spots up that the others couldn't get! The pads are thick and easily tossed in the wash. The floor is clean, not wet which is great since I have two dogs. My white tile floor just sparkles and I know its clean because of the steam. I also like that fact that there are no chemicals.

Just vacuum, then use the Enviro Steamer. You'll never buy any other type of mop again, EVER! I promise! This is the best product for steam cleaning floors at a great price. (I paid $100 ten years ago for this.)
